Meet Micah

Micah Bullard, originally from Houston, Texas, earned his BFA in Ballet Performance from the University of Oklahoma, where he performed the role of Prince Siegfried in Swan Lake and works by Merce Cunningham, Alejandro Cerrudo, and Nilas Martins.

Micah is currently in his sixth season with Dance Theatre of Harlem, where he has performed works by George Balanchine, William Forsythe, Nacho Duato, and Robert Garland.

His film and television credits include Netflix’s Full Out 2: You Got This! and the Amazon Prime series Étoile, where he worked as both a dancer and choreographer. He has also modeled for Harper’s Bazaar and Chanel.

Micah has taught master classes across the country and is excited to work with the students of SOA!

Meet Terrance

Terrance Henderson is a Columbia, SC-based performance artist, poet, choreographer, and Master Teacher — a true multi-hyphenate whose work spans dance, theatre, and spoken word. For over two decades he has been a driving force in South Carolina's arts community, raising the bar in dance and theatre while forging important conversations through his creative work.

Terrance served as Artistic Director and Principal Choreographer for Vibrations Dance Company for 12 seasons and has directed the Modern, Jazz and Contemporary Dance Program at Southeastern Ballet School for 20 years. He creates original dance/theatre works and artist residencies through TOdanceInc, performs as a member of IndigoSOUL and The Pack, and is a long-time Equity company member at Trustus Theatre in Columbia.

A former State Fellow in Dance Performance and 2025 Mellon Monuments Fellow with Wideman-Davis Dance, Terrance last summer originated the role of Dogwood in the world premiere of Kudzu Calling at Alabama Shakespeare Festival. He is also the recipient of the 2016 Steve G. Morrison Visionary Award for vision and leadership in Columbia's cultural community.

Meet Natasha

Natasha Nast is a Charleston-based professional ballet dancer and teacher. Originally from Baltimore, she received her pre-professional training at the Baltimore School for the Arts and the Russian Ballet Academy of Maryland before joining Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre's Graduate Program on scholarship, where she performed company roles in Swan Lake, La Bayadère, Le Corsaire, and more.

In 2017 Natasha joined Palmetto City Ballet, now in her tenth season, where her roles have included the Sugar Plum Fairy, Lucy in Dracula, and the title role in The Little Mermaid. She has also performed with Unbound Ballet Project, Charleston Opera Theater, and HBO, among others. A dance educator in the Charleston community since 2018, she currently serves on faculty at Palmetto City Ballet School and Impact Creative Arts Academy and is thrilled to work with SOA students for the first time.

Meet Piper

Piper Reinwald is a Los Angeles-based freelance dancer, choreographer, and performer — and a proud SOA Dance alumna. Originally from Charleston, she began dancing at age two and trained primarily under Monica Ball and Lindy Fabyanic at the Dance Conservatory of Charleston before spending grades 6–12 right here as a dance major at SOA.

Piper went on to earn her BFA in Dance from the California Institute of the Arts, where she performed works by choreographers including Brad Moranz, Jobel Medina, and Angelica Stiskin. Her acting credits span stage and screen — from Rent and Heathers the Musical to television appearances in Righteous Gemstones and Army Wives. As a choreographer, her recent credits include Bang! The Most Patriotic Show in the United States of America and The Village Repertory's production of Once Upon A One More Time

Meet Kaitlyn

Kaitlyn Hernandez is a dance educator and choreographer specializing in turns, leaps, and technical progressions, with a focus on helping dancers build strength, control, and confidence in their movement. She earned her B.A. in Dance with a minor in Business from the College of Charleston, where she further developed her foundation in both performance and dance education.

Kaitlyn currently serves as the Marketing Coordinator for The Godfrey Method, a strength-based dance training and education company focused on injury prevention, conditioning, mobility, and career longevity. Alongside her role with the company, she trains under Jonathan Godfrey, continuing to expand her knowledge of strength-based technique, biomechanics, and progressive training methods for dancers.

Kaitlyn’s goal as an educator is to create an encouraging yet challenging environment where dancers can push beyond their current abilities, better understand their bodies, and develop technique that supports both their artistry and long-term growth.

Meet Harambee

Founded in Charleston in 1994 by Sandella and Frank Malloy, Harambee Dance Company has spent over 30 years bringing African and African American traditions to life through movement, live percussion, original music, and storytelling. The company now works between Charleston and New York City.

Under the creative vision of Artistic Director and Choreographer Sandella Malloy, Harambee has performed at Lincoln Center, the Kennedy Center, Jacob's Pillow, BAM DanceAfrica, and international stages in Ghana, Taiwan, and Toronto.

Harambee's education and outreach work includes residencies at the College of Charleston and through the CUNY Dance Initiative at Lehman College, alongside community classes, workshops, and master classes that make the arts accessible while honoring cultural heritage.
